Our Amazing maps!

Hello bloggers!  Over the past few Fridays, Mr. G's  Friday maths group have been making maps! The maps Are our own made-up countries and cities, and it has been really fun and interesting to make! I made a country called Obeliskos, and it has lots of different cities and things! Obeliskos has four landmarks: Basalt valleys, which is a deep canyon entirely made of basalt, but shrubs still manage to live there. Industrialis, which is a hulking city that smells of smoke and has millions of residents. Artemis Volcano, with a massive lava lake inside. And Crater City, with a small wild west town inside. with all these landmarks, we needed to make bearings for all of them, figuring how far away from each other they were, and the location on the grid map. I hope you like it (And can understand it!)
